trip information

The Annapurna Base Camp trek is a fusion of easy walking, cultural input, and a great trekking trail. It’s an ideal trekking destination and will take you to an altitude of 4131m. The highlights of the Annapurna Base Camp trek are spectacular sunrise and mountain view from Poonhill; going around distinctive Gurung villages and get insights into their daily lifestyle; the hot spring in Jhinudanda; an incredible peak and glacier views from Annapurna Base Camp. All memories are likely to stick for a long time, if not a lifetime.

The trek begins from plain villages and rice terraces into the Annapurna Himalayan range. As you steadily ascend up, the mountains of Himchuli and Annapurna South come into view on the horizon. Meadows and cultivated fields will now take you to the beautiful forests including bamboo, oak, and rhododendron trees. The path finally comes across moraines and takes us to Annapurna Sanctuary from where you will witness great views of the Annapurna peaks.

Overall, a great trek with moderate difficulty, and a 12 days duration. Please see the itinerary for a day-by-day itinerary. We look forward to giving you a great trekking experience in Nepal.
