trip information

Close to the Nepal Tibet border in a corner of the upper Mustang region lies Mt. Saribung Peak situated in the Damodar Himalayan range in the western part of Nepal. Being open for climbing expedition only since 2006 this expedition includes the exploration of the restricted region of upper Mustang one of the last forbidden kingdom of Nepal and Nar Phu valley with beautiful landscape, mixed culture, which encourages the trekkers to reach this destination.
The Saribung expedition has a lot to offer to you including a beautiful view of snow-capped mountains of three different trekking destinations like Mt. Dhaulagiri(8167m), Mt.Manaslu(8163m) and Mt. Annapurna (8091m). The rugged trails, cutting high into the cliff sides passes through villages that have changed quite little over the centuries untouched by the modernization let you experience the old culture and tradition of the Himalayan region of Nepal first-hand.
It is considered as one of the easiest expeditions done in Nepal but requires one to be physically fit as the expedition passes through ice and creases in between the Damodar Kunda region and Nar-Phu valley. Trekkers can enjoy the fantastic and picturesque views of diversity in this region as the trek goes from one place to another with great sceneries, cultures, religion and geographical variations.
