trip information

With an aspiring height of 7,126 Mt. Himlung lies to the northeast of the Annapurna Range in a remote area close to the Nepal-Tibet border. Mt. Himlung was a restricted region and was later open for the public and foreigners to climb since 1992. Hence the first to climb up to its summit was a Japanese expedition team in 1992 and had other few ascents later on as it is technically easy to climb compared to other expeditions.
The expedition offers mysterious culture and panoramic mountain views of Nandadevi, Rajramba, Api Himal, Kappa Chuli Peak and many more; as the expedition route follows round Annapurna route to Koto and from Koto towards Nar-Phu Gaon passing through glaciers, gullies, springs and remote villages nearby which exhibit tremendous Tibetan culture. Our expedition team will set up three camps above of the base camp at height of 5450m, 6000m and 6350 to reach the summit. Himlung Himal is a splendid peak in isolation with an awesome explorations trek to the top which requires a high fitness level.
