trip information

Annapurna IV (7525m) compared to other Annapurna summits is a trouble-free peak to climb. Lying west of Annapurna II and south of Manang valley, it offers a stunning view of the Marsyangdi valley along with the impressive view of Annapurna II. Annapurna Iv was first climbed in 1955 by a group from Germany led by Heinz Steinmetz through the North Face and Northwest edge.
With accordance to the standard route, the peak is approached from the Manang valley side and it takes approximately two hours to reach the bottom of Mt Annapurna IV from its base camp. On this expedition, climbers need to establish three camps before they reach to the top of the peak. Usually, a 500m fixed with a 65-70 degree steep slope is used to reach camp I and 1000m rope to reach camp II. Comparatively, it is easier to reach camp II from camp II as this part has a zigzag crossing and gradual climbing.
Experience a varied mountain life and mountain terrain with an incredible diversity of ethnicities, flora, and fauna in the Annapurna IV expedition.
